About this role

We're looking for an experienced HR professional to lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement at Acelerar Technologies. As our HR Manager or Assistant Manager, you'll be responsible for building and retaining a high-performing team that delivers outstanding results for our clients.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to make a tangible impact on company culture and growth. You'll work closely with leadership to design HR strategies that support our rapid scaling while maintaining the team-first culture that defines Acelerar.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for India operations including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Design and execute structured onboarding programs to ensure new hires are productive from day one
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and retention strategies
  • Manage HR operations including attendance tracking, leave management, payroll coordination, and compliance
  • Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and performance improvement processes
  • Create and maintain HR policies, documentation, and standard operating procedures
  • Track and report on HR metrics including attrition rates, time-to-hire, and employee satisfaction scores
  • Partner with leadership to support organizational growth, workforce planning, and talent development

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in human resources with at least 1 year in a managerial or team lead capacity
  • Strong experience in recruitment, particularly volume hiring for BPO or operations roles
  • Knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience with HRMS tools and applicant tracking systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
  • Data-driven approach to HR with experience tracking and improving key people metrics
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
